Smoked Gouda is a smooth, mellow cheese with a rich, smoked, nutty
flavor. While often served as an appetizer or for snacks, try using
it on top of pizza for a change of pace. |

Smoked Gouda Country Biscuits

Smoked Gouda, shredded |
| 1-1/2 cups |
heavy cream |
| 4 Tbsp. |
butter,
melted |
| 1/2 tsp. |
garlic
powder |
| 1/2 tsp. |
onion powder |
| 1/2 tsp. |
parsley,
chopped |
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cheese together in a large mixing
bowl.
Slowly add heavy cream. Add just enough cream to hold dough together.
Knead dough for one minute, then flatten out to 3/4" thick.
Cut with a cookie cutter into desired shape.
Mix butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley. Brush
on both sides of biscuit, and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
